“10,000 Flags, One Wind “ Selected for National Commission Project

I’m honored to share that my composition 10,000 Flags, One Wind has been selected as the winner of the Unity movement in OurSong Atlanta’s national choral commission competition, Alchemy: From Ordinary to Extraordinary.

The project celebrates the stories, history, and lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community through a new seven-movement song cycle, and I’m deeply grateful to have been invited to contribute a small part of that larger work.

My thanks to OurSong Atlanta, the selection committee, and everyone involved in bringing this project to life. I’m humbled by the opportunity and excited to hear the piece take flight in performance.
